Surgical Procedures

You’re ready to live your life with more movement and less pain. When surgery is the right option for you, trust your compassionate care team to guide you. To help you get back to your normal routine faster, we use minimally invasive procedures whenever possible, leading to shorter recovery times and less scarring. Within our network, we offer a wide variety of leading-edge procedures for hand and wrist conditions, including:

  • Carpal tunnel surgery
  • Closed reduction and fixation to realign or set broken bones
  • Debridement (removing damaged or infected tissue)
  • Fasciotomy (releasing pressure or tension)

If you feel a little anxious before your surgery, know that you’re not alone. Your orthopedic care team will be with you from day one. Before your procedure, we’ll recommend simple lifestyle changes that can help you improve your outcomes, like rehabilitation, exercise and quitting smoking. You’ll also be supported throughout your surgical journey by your dedicated Care Coordinator. They’ll take care of all the little details, including appointment scheduling, so you can relax and heal.

Arthritis

When the joints in your hands, wrists and fingers are swollen and sore, simple tasks like tying your shoelaces can seem almost impossible. If you’re living with arthritis, we want to make each day easier. Whether it’s recommending effective self-care methods to help you manage your pain at home or offering family education to help your loved ones support you, our arthritis specialists are here for you.

To improve the function and mobility of your joints, your multidisciplinary team can include specialized rheumatologists, orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists and occupational therapists. This team will work together to ease your discomfort and stiffness, so you can focus on the things you love in life.

Rehabilitation

When you’re on the path to wellness, know that you have a team by your side. You’ll never be alone as you recover from your condition or surgery. Our comprehensive and compassionate rehabilitation program is built around you, helping you achieve your health goals and feel whole again. To help avoid any delays, we offer direct access, which means you can schedule an appointment directly with one of our facilities. You don’t need a referral, because we believe care should be available whenever you need it. (Most insurances accepted for direct access. Please call to confirm.)
